Making a difference
We research socio-economic-technological change that is beyond normal. Our aim is to co-create knowledge, strategies and models for facing or driving disruptive transformations. Ultimately our research is driven by a shared desire to contribute to shaping a better tomorrow.
Our approach to research is collaborative and interdisciplinary: we bring together scholars and practitioners from a variety of backgrounds. We believe that understanding complex issues requires multiple viewpoints and multiple methods – especially in our era of transformations.
We conduct both conceptual and empirical research that contributes to both academic knowledge accumulation and practical applications. We do basic research, applied research, and in addition believe in sharing knowledge through expert services. However, all of our research has a normative undercurrent: we want to have an impact – to make a difference.
